Our Berkeley student apartments are located just a few blocks from UC Berkeley on iconic Telegraph Avenue. That means you can walk to class while living among 200+ restaurants, boutiques, street vendors, and fun activities. When you’re not hard at work on papers and projects, you’ll love exploring everything from eclectic eateries and fashion boutiques to skate shops and record stores within steps of home.
Artist Joel Swanson’s commissioned 4-story art installation “Love” is an homage to the Hippie movement and Summer of Love on Berkeley’s Telegraph Avenue. The message of Love continues its relevance and drives social activism in the area today. “Love” is handwritten by dozens of Nobel Laureates from Berkeley’s faculty and alumni then etched in metal and backlit with neon lights along the facade of the building to create this tribute art piece to our cultural history.
